About Övik Energi AB
Övik Energi AB is a subsidiary in the sole ownership of Rodret i Örnsköldsvik AB. Rodret is completely owned by the Municipality of Örnsköldsvik. The Board is appointed by the Municipal Council. Subsidiaries are Övik Energi Nät AB, Hörnett Energi AB, Hörnett Produktion AB, Örnsat AB and Domsjö Vatten AB.
Övik Energi Nät AB is concerned with electricity distribution and maintenance of the electricity grid, and is responsible for street and highway lighting in the Municipality of Örnsköldsvik. Hörnett Energi AB is concerned with the sales and supply of steam and electricity to industrial plants. Hörnett Produktion AB is concerned with the production of steam and electricity. Örnsat AB sells cable TV and Internet services. Domsjö Vatten AB supplies the Domsjö industrial area with water for manufacturing processes.
